What started off as Saturday morning coffee with a group of enlightened women has grown to a wonderful weekly gathering where everyone is welcome to join and take action. We have drinks, meet new friends and fight to save democracy, starting in our own little corner of the world! 6-8pm every Tuesday at Highland Square Mustard Seed, 2nd floor. Public schools are under attack and it's coming from state legislators across the country. From curriculum bans and restrictions on student groups to cuts in mental health support and new voucher programs, politicians are reshaping what kids can learn and what schools can provide.

We are teaming up with our friends at Crooked River Action to host a canvass for Congresswoman Emilia Sykes on April 22 in Cuyahoga Falls. We’ll also be canvassing for State House candidate Noah Spinner. Keeping OH-13 blue is a must for Summit County and a must if we are going to flip the House. State House District 31 is a toss-up district we can win! We’d love to get at least 10 volunteers out there next Wednesday. Sign-up here.

Thursday, April 23, 2026: HELP NEEDED for the Sidewalk Rally for the Cuyahoga Falls Library Levy from 5:00-8:00 on Front St. near High Bridge Glens Park by the big yellow duck! Our cheering and signs will draw attention to the upcoming library levy and encourage library supporters to vote YES on Issue 5 on May 5th! Levy yard signs will be provided to participants. Please come and join us!

Join Summit Dems for a phone banking event focused on improving the accuracy of our voter file and supporting our deep canvassing initiative. This work is critical to ensuring we are reaching the right voters with the right message and building meaningful, long-term relationships with our community.

Volunteers will make calls to verify and update voter information and, when appropriate, engage in deeper conversations that help inform our ongoing organizing efforts.

On Wednesday, April 29, from 2-5 p.m., Congresswoman Sykes will host Congress In Our Community at the Lake Community Branch Library, located at 565 Market Ave. SW, Uniontown, Ohio.

At Congress In Our Community, Team Sykes will be on-hand to provide personalized assistance for a variety of issues with federal agencies. If you need assistance with expediting your passport, the IRS and tax matters, Social Security, Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, or more, our office is here to help.

Please note: there will be no formal presentation. These office hours are one-on-one visits between members of the district staff and constituents. You may stop by anytime during the event.
